Resident Registration Application....

SO then last year, I decided to pursue studying through KIIP to get my citizenship last year.

KIIP by the way is a program from the Korean immigration that allows individuals with a valid Visa to learn Korean that will eventually be the fastest key(for some) to apply for the citizenship when passed until level 5. 
For those who are curious what KIIP is, i have a separate blog about it, please check them out.

So then I took the level test and got lev.4 that is why i was able to finish until lev.5 easily~ yay!!~.application is a little bit complicated as well but with the right documents it will be easy.


Here are the HOW TO's..

1. A text message will pop, telling you na " in 10 days" makakatanggap ka ng letter from the immigration about sa application ng citizenship(actually 2days lang dumating na xa)..

**so wait nlng after receiving a message from them wag maxado maexcite..hahaha

2.The letter from the immigration which has "귀화허가 통지서" or "Notice of Citizenship" in English translation on top , along with your Alien Registration Card should then be brought by you in your respective dong-samuso or brgy. office to get a 기본증명서...

To get it you will then have to write on a form provided the dongsamuso and they have to get all your R and L fingermarks..


**but i suggest to wait two days after receiving the letter..( I went right away which was not wise because my information  hasnt been updated, so nahirapan mga taga dongsamuso kc di nila alam gagawin)..

3.After you get the documents from dongsamuso, you need to bring them along with your other documents..your arc, need to bring your phil.passport(not necessary but in case they need to check something), and 1 latest passport size picture.

The immigration will then give you  document "외국국적불행사서약서", a document of your naturalization, that you can now register for korean id. 

You need to go back to dongsamuso for the registration of your korean id with this document.

**you will surrender your arc so dont expect na ibbalik nila so better take a picture of it, you still need it to change your bank accounts and other impt documents that you need to update.

4. After you register for a korean id in the dong samuso, make sure to ask for 임시주민등록 a temporary korean id, it will take a month to finally get your korean id..

The application to get your korean id upon receiving the letter should be done within a year nonetheless it will expire then you have to re apply to the immigration and go through the application scenario again.

**just some tips,

 If you are working in a certain office and you pay for your (4대보험)-  after applying for the korean id, your arc id no. will become unavailable that is why you need to talk to your boss beforehand so that he or she can assist you on what documents he or she may need for the re-application of your 4대보험.

If you have other insurances(health, dental etc.) You need to inform the insurance company or your agent,  that your foreign id is now cancelled because you have a korean no. 

For your bank accounts- you should update your info as well. The good thing is that you can still use the same atm and bankbook but they need to have a copy of your previous id(arc) as well as your new id.

A leaf

Something to ponder:) Its fall. A season of the year where some people enjoyed because of the changing colors of the leaves. Some to yellow, some to reddish brown, some never changes and some to no leaves at all. While some could enjoy the colorful scenery that Fall brings, there are those who develop melancholy.  During fall, the sun gives a lesser sunlight than the summer. Or you felt the other way~  Now heres a story of how a single leaf changes something. There was a small gingko tree on the top of a hill, beside an old barn.  Long time ago, that barn was full of farm animals for its owner, an old man who lived in a small house not far from the barn was living by himself. But due to his old age, he became ill and opted to sell his animals to the people down the hill. Not long after that, the old man passed away.
