Based in American Heart Association, K awasaki disease (mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome) is a children's illness characterized by fever, rash, swelling of the hands and feet, irritation and redness of the whites of the eyes, swollen lymph glands in the neck, and irritation and inflammation of the mouth, lips and throat.   Named after Dr. Tomisaku Kawasaki, a Japanese pediatrician, the disease has probably been in existence for a long time, but was not recognized as a separate entity until 1967. The incidence is higher in Japan than in any other country. In the United States it is more frequent among children of Asian-American background, but can occur in any racial or ethnic group.  The heart may be affected in as many as one of five children who develop Kawasaki disease. This April 13th, Wednesday marked as the legislative election day in South Korea. It is a nationwide voting day therefore all the public offices(some of the private as well), schools and some other establishments are all going to be close. South Korea's voting system is very easy and simple. There are booths set-up for people to go in to and they just have to stamp on the name of their desire candidate. One week before the election, the country has sent to all the electorates a letter size envelope. Inside the envelope are the ballots for voting. The electorates have to go to their nearest area offices called Dongsamuso, they also use elementary schools to set up voting booths if needed. The voting takes about 5 to 10minutes, of course it still varies depending on how fast your machine and a person is. Here are some of the photos.I took them on koreantimes.

Haeinsa  ( 해인사 , "Reflections on a Smooth Sea") is an important Buddhist temple on Gaya Mountain in Gyeongsang province, South Korea. Founded in the 9th century and rebuilt in the 19th century, it is best known for its complete copy of the Buddhist scriptures, the  Tripitaka Koreana( 팔만 대장경 or  고려 대장경 )Buddhist Scriptures carved on the wood. Its still summer and I want to share a place (Haeinsa pronounce are H- IN-SA) where we used to go and definitely a place we would still be going in the next few years for our summer getaway(hahaha~)... After spending a year again in the Philippines we are once again going back to South Korea. I felt happy yet sad..Why?!.. One reason is even though I love my life in Korea with the fast transportation, definitely different life style and high salary; Philippines is still my original home, tattooed in my being and my root.       It was monday, 13th of august at around 5am when I felt there was some thick liquid like water with a streak of blood(my water bag was just a lil broke) gushing down my thighs not to mention some of it on our family bed. I thought at that time if im already on labor but i felt no pain at all. Funny thing instead to hurry down the hospital I hurried on my laptop and logged in to my ym.I didnt know why but then luckily my nurse friend was in and so I asked lots of  questions to her and I was calmed down(thanks pampam!) She advised me and even if not, to go get check so during my visit to my OB that morning at 7am, he said that I was on early labor and a cm dilated. H e had me have a contraction test but since i wasnt feeling any pain and had a negative result, my doc allowed me to go home to take some rest but told me the warning signs of when to go back.      It was that night at around 6pm when I was feeling...
